The company has grown substantially in recent years through internal and contracted manufacturing, acquisition, and expansion of its sales distribution network around the world.
Responsible for all HR-related activities across the entire company (Canada, Germany, France)
Manage 1 direct report (HR assistant)
Full-circle recruitment and induction process including attending job fairs, social media, HR portion of company website and reference verifications among others
Maintain the company policies and procedures and provide advice on interpretation
Coaching and mentoring of supervisors and other managers on HR related topics including performance evaluations, changes in Labour Laws, Health & Safety, and so on.
Maintain the Pay Equity and OQLF programs and oversee CSST files
Oversee the group insurance plan
Take an active role in the company’s Health & Safety program
Coordinate payroll with the accounting department
Various administrative tasks related to employee records and day-to-day operations
Manage HR activities & events (Flu shots, Tire rotation events, Summer Bar B Q’s, Christmas Party, Yoga courses, and much much more.
Minimum of five years Human Resources Management experience
Fluently bilingual, French and English, verbal and written
Excellent communications skills
Independent, creative, organized, and enthusiastic
Possess good initiative and able to prioritize and deliver results
Dependable and a good team player
Able to deal with highly confidential matters
Knowledgeable of employment laws and practices, CSST, etc.
Set an example for employees in terms of dress code and professional behavior;
Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer; knowledge of ERP solutions desirable;
Good network of professional contacts.
Ability to travel overseas when needed to support our other locations across Europe.
