Lordco Parts Ltd. began in 1974 and since then has grown to become the largest auto parts retailer in Western Canada. Lordco is an owner/operated, family-run business that has expanded to include 86 retail locations, 7 distribution centers, 3 machine shops and a myriad of specialty divisions that include High Performance, RV and Marine, Truck Accessories, Equipment, Paint and Body, Import and Industrial Supplies.

The successful candidate is an IT leader with a proven track record in system selection, design, implementation, and run of small products to large scale ERP solutions. They’ll lead a team of developers and analysts and third parties in transforming the digital tools that enable and support our business
They work to develop their team and invest in the people on the team
They have a successful track record from inception to run
They understand that technology is a business enabler first and foremost, and they’re a role model for service
They’re interested in an Azure, cloud first strategy
Skills and knowledge required
10+ years of combined professional analysis and development skills within an enterprise environment
5 years IT leadership experience required, leading teams of analysts and developers
Diploma or degree in computer science required
Diploma or degree in business is an asset
Experience in a retail IT environment and familiar with modern retail IT architecture, development practices, and retail business concepts such as advanced inventory planning, merchandising technologies, supply chain technologies, retail analytics, etc.
Experience working with professional services teams, system implementers and major software vendors
Strong business analysis skills – can “own” an excel spreadsheet or other models as required
Strong communication skills that enable IT to partner with other members of our business on new initiatives
Auto parts or an automotive background is an asset
