Cash Management is becoming a more and more integral part of the banking world and we are on the search for our next generation of experts to help with Canadian Western Bank’s growth! In Cash Management, you will work directly with our clients to deliver exceptional service! You will utilize your banking expertise to understand our clients’ goals and aspirations to see the bigger picture and provide guidance for a successful financial future. As a Cash Management expert, you have the expertise in financial products and services that help companies and clients operate their businesses on a day-to-day basis. You are the glue between our clients and our products. Work to enhance relationships with CWB borrowing and non-borrowing business clients. You will have the ability to step out of the norm in working with our partner companies, while helping to shape processes and drive innovation. In a Cash Management, client facing, sales position:
Fluid and purpose driven days that will be full of trial and discovery. Actively build and grow a portfolio of diverse commercial, real estate and equipment financing group clients. This will include interviewing and connecting with clients to uncover opportunities to offer solutions to enhance and build the client relationships. Discovery (asking questions to discover pain points), solution (product matching), commitment (solving objections) and follow-up (building the relationship by staying in contact) are all key activities. Assisting in the development of strategy and scheduling for account prospects will help you identify operations and financial business potential.
Assist in reviewing accounts and services on an ongoing basis to obtain compensation for increase in risk, complexity or administration. Participate in the development of a strategy and a schedule for each account or prospect, identifying business potential, both financial and operational.

This career may be for you if:
Have approximately 5 years banking experience, specifically with bank and subsidiary deposit products and services and perhaps some post-secondary education in accounting, finance or other related disciplines.
Possess a people first approach always - anticipating clients’ need to go beyond expectations and drive opportunities to genuinely help others while growing business.
Provide creative solutions and build real, lasting relationships.
Have a history of acting as a product and services expert and have spent some time in cash management.
You’re computer savvy – MS Word, Outlook and Excel are essential, and exposure to a lending or banking system would be ideal.

In a Cash Management Support position:
Understanding and supporting how a business operates: We’re talking cash flow. How is money going out? Who is it going to? Where is it going? Where are their clients? How does money come in? Grasping these concepts, their impact and assisting Account Managers in building full banking relationships.
Be a key resource for clients and colleagues who will rely on your expertise and skill to ensure the accurate, timely and thorough delivery of cash management products and services. This will mean understanding the client business cycle, reading financial statements, pulling information from our internal systems and grasping how clients manage their day-to-day operations.
Actively support a portfolio of diverse commercial, real estate and equipment financing group clients through discovery, solution based discussions, commitment and follow through. Assisting in the development of strategy and scheduling for account prospects will help you identify operations and financial business potential. Executing on all the details - maximizing your analytic abilities and completing the operational administrative work behind the scenes efficiently and thoughtfully

This career may be for you if:
Have 2+ years in banking with an understanding of cash management or treasury practices and perhaps some post-secondary education.
Possess knowledge of bank and subsidiary deposit products and services.
Practice a strong people first and client approach to customer service.
You’re computer savvy – MS Word, Outlook and Excel are essential, and exposure to a lending or banking system would be ideal.
