Graphic & Web Design Specialist
In this unique hybrid role, you are equal parts designer and techie - and are equally passionate about both.
We are looking for a highly creative, organized and detail-oriented Web & Graphic Designer for our full-service, in-house creative team. You will design both print and digital collateral for the SYNNEX brand, SYNNEX sub-brands, and vendor co-branded campaigns, as well as support our Reseller customers’ business efforts.
As a member of this dynamic team, you possess high-energy, enthusiasm, a passion for the work, and hands-on experience and an excellent sense of design principles across all media types. You have experience in in creating graphics for various types of print, as well as social media, back end development and front-end design and are a “go-to” expert in all things digital.
Get Inspired by the Work You’ll Do
Design visually appealing graphics for print, web and social media that meet corporate brand standards
Liaise with stakeholder partners, internal graphic designer, web developer, emedia specialist and outside printers and suppliers
Work closely with Client and Project Team to assess creative needs and execute design directions based on project objectives
Responsible for developing and executing creative concepts from ideation to delivery
Understand the building of brands through consistent and effective usage of brand imagery
Produce creative work that pushes the boundaries of great design while maintaining the creative integrity of the SYNNEX brand and sub-brands
Produce executive presentations in PowerPoint; create presentation templates and assist speakers and staff through technical set-ups
Create and post internal Digital Signage
Produce HTML and WordPress graphics and function as back up to create digital marketing emails and newsletters in Pardot and Dreamweaver
Produce event registration pages in CVent
Analyze and track website performance, and keep up to date with analytics best practices
Ability to create and edit short videos in Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Premiere
Keep current with design and communication trends, technology and best practices
Your passion is sparked by:
Diploma in Graphic Design and/or Web Design or equivalent experience required
Proficiency with Adobe CC (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premiere)
Understanding of current print design and web trends and practices, gained through 1-2 years of experience in a graphics environment
Knowledge of typography, design, electronic pre-press, print production, digital and publishing hardware/software
Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and various digital multimedia editing and design programs
Experience with WordPress, HTML, Event and Project Management software
Familiarity with social media and digital marketing
Solid understanding of website content and experience with content strategy
Comfortable with both Mac and Windows
Familiarity with Pardot, Cvent and Socious are assets
Video & motion graphics experience helpful; photography skills strongly desirable
Experience in executing multi-step projects and reaching milestones on time without sacrificing accuracy or quality
Ability to think strategically, take initiative, demonstrate creativity, proactively identify issues, and make recommendations
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and balance competing priorities accurately and within short timeframes and deadlines
Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team
Proactively and effectively collaborate with Marcom and multifunctional teams and other stakeholders on relevant projects
Superior organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail coupled with effective verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiastic to learn new platforms, software and technologies; passion for high tech and everything digital
