If so, the Engagement Branch is looking for such a team member to join their team! We offer a single point of contact to our customers through a variety of different business channels with an emphasis on efficient and cost-effective services delivered with a focus on customer service and satisfaction.

With alignment to the City of Edmonton’s Cultural Commitments to Safe, Helpful, Accountable, Integrated and Excellent, you will:
Provide administrative assistance and support for the Branch by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, transcribing and distributing minutes
Provide general office procedures support including ordering office supplies and distributing the mail
Execute daily accounting and financial tasks including credit card transactions, processing invoices for payments and preparing bank deposits for Spirit & Recognition funds error-free and on time
Assist with planning and organizing Branch functions and events
Assist in creating accurate correspondences, reports and maintaining databases for management
Coordinate travel arrangements
Provide reception coverage as necessary for the Branch, coordinate courier, fax and delivery requests and manage meeting room calendars and bookings
Coordinate and act as the primary point of contact for building issues, office equipment and repairs
Complete purchase service agreements
Build and maintain positive, productive relationships at varying levels internal to 311 & Inside Information, as well as with various stakeholders across the corporation
Completion of Grade 12, including business subjects related to word and information processing or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved business school/college
A minimum of 2 years diverse word and information processing experience, including data entry and general office duties such as preparing agendas, transcribing and distributing minutes, monitoring supplies and inventory, scheduling meetings and calendar management
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Applications and SAP is required with the proven ability to learn new software programs quickly
Highly developed analytical, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills are required
Demonstrated experience in keeping private information confidential and making appropriate decisions in management’s absence
Proven high performance related to proofreading and providing highly detailed work accurately
Customer service experience is required
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision and participate actively as a team member
Experience working in a high volume environment with the skills to manage multiple and conflicting priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Up to 1 temporary full- time position for up to 18 months as per article 18.02 of the CSU 52 Collective Agreement

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary: $22.361 - $27.765 (Hourly); $46,689.770 - $57,973.320 (Annually)
