Position Summary for a House Manager:

The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the everyday operations of a home as well as the training, supervision and developmental growth of the employees. They will work collaboratively with the Program Coordinator to ensure that individuals served are given all needed supports to help them live as independently as possible, maintain optimal health and are given sufficient opportunities to engage in their desired activities and interests at home and in the community.

Requirements for House Manager:

  • Must be available to work evenings and be on-call
  • Administrative Experience
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and use of a vehicle
  • Record of accomplishment as a team leader
  • Current First Aid Certification (Level C)
  • 1 year of management experience
  • Relatable post-secondary education

*Upon hire, the successful candidate will be expected to provide, at minimal, the receipts for the following documentation: Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search) Child and Adult Abuse Registry check. Although, it is ideal that the candidate present valid checks.

Valid Checks are Security Checks that are dated no later than three months prior to application.
