  • Leads, participates, and implements program development roadmaps working closely with internal and external business stakeholders • Develops, maintains and enhances interactions with partners, data providers, and customers to identify and develop health innovation opportunities • Works within the team uses collaborative and planning processes to define the future direction and operations of the Alberta Data Institute • Builds, influences and otherwise foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, growth and improvement; and establishing program deliverables, timelines and required resources. • Develops, maintains, and enhances interactions to ensure outcomes are being delivered, risks are being mitigated, and opportunities for scale and spread of innovations are identified • Works closely with internal stakeholders and partners to develop and implement a communication strategy for assigned programs and initiatives. Support the development of the administrative aspects of the program and initiative delivery, including guidelines, and application development, due diligence processes, monitoring and evaluation • Acts as a resource for stakeholders to overcome challenges and barriers they may encounter as they work towards the agreed upon timelines, milestones and outcomes throughout the life cycle of each investment or project • Facilitates informational workshops to understand from clients how programs can be improved • Maintain knowledge of current policies and practices and important trends in health research and innovation • Recommends improvements in the program design and execution • Contributes to program and portfolio evaluation by developing and implementing appropriate program measures of success Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree is required • Masters degree in a health-related discipline or multidisciplinary environment with a health focus is preferred • Clinical experience is considered an asset • Additional certification in project management, program management, business, and/or finance would be an asset • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering programs • Excellent time management skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple programs concurrently at different phases in the program lifecycle • Demonstrated experience establishing and/or operating the following project control processes on multiple projects: schedule management, issue management, risk management, status reporting, change control, budget/effort management • Broad knowledge of the health research and innovation environment in Alberta Other skills and knowledge we are looking for: • Ability to adapt to change and work in a team environment • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing skills • Experience in establishing and maintaining good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Attention to detail • Confident, a team player, and result-oriented
