Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Provincial Rotation and Relief Workforce Services, the Rotation Consultant provides consultation and support to AHS leadership in creating optimal rotations to meet staffing operational requirements. The Rotation Consultant will work with multidisciplinary teams in clinical and non-clinical areas to fully understand, review, plan and build rotations to enhance safe quality staff and patient care delivery. This position provides advisory guidance to clients regarding the development, integration, implementation and evaluation of rotations around workforce strategies. The Rotation Consultant facilitates and participates with key zone stakeholders The successful candidate must possess a high degree of independent judgment, be able to meet deadlines and handle competing demands, but must also work as part of a team to ensure consistent service and shared learning. Optimize and create rotations using software tools, existing quality standards, and established provincial guidelines. Utilize expert knowledge to ensure high quality and sustainable resources. Analyze rotations to ensure collective agreements and best practices are followed. Participate in facilitating the change management process. Provides consultation to and works with a variety of stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Baccalaureate Degree and related experience in a healthcare field required. 1-3 years of rotation building experience. Previous experience working in a complex unionized health organization. Knowledge of and experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and written, verbal communication skills.
