POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for working with the company user community to support and lead the deployment, as well as, ongoing use of the Collaboration and mobile ecosystem. As part of this multifaceted role, this person will work internally as a trusted technical advisor support and administer Cogeco’s collaborative and mobile technologies. This role maintains in-depth knowledge of all mobile device technologies in use and acts as an escalation point for support and implementation teams. This role will focus on resolving technical challenges and leading Cogeco to become more efficient using these technologies. They will provide project management, training, process development and content creation expertise in order to drive self-sufficiency within the broader user community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide exceptional technical guidance to end users adopting Cogeco’s Collaboration and Mobile Device Management Platforms
Review and update existing mobile device policies and creating new policies to meet organization’s mobility strategy
Provide best practices on secure foundational cloud implementations as Cogeco expands Google usage for different product and service deployments
Works closely with Service Desk team, & IT to identify and resolve issues as they relate to mobility & collaboration technologies
Provides support and manages technical escalations as well as interfacing with the vendor to resolve
Lead initiative to evolve Cogeco’s email platform and assume product ownership of the email service. This includes ongoing administration, support, governance and security
Detect business opportunities where the Google Cloud & G-Suite can be leveraged
Partner with management on strategic planning, delivery and support for current and future mobility initiatives
Evolve and administer Cogeco’s MDM platform to meet ongoing business requirements (Citrix)
10. Define and maintain the mobile standards, technology selections, and security standards for all COGECO sites
Provide expertise in ensuring end users receive the best of what Cogeco's mobility ecosystem can offer and ensure key stakeholders have the best experience deploying apps and services to their teams
Act as lead in configuring and maintaining security platform that monitors the Cogeco Google ecosystem
Lead the deployment and ongoing usage of Chromebox for Meetings video conferencing units at Cogeco
Identify opportunities for cost savings by leveraging Google and lead initiatives to realize savings
Enforce governance rules for the Google ecosystem– monitor usage and restrict and revoke access where necessary
Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, communications, and technical presentations adapting to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders
Overall process ownership for Google Services at Cogeco. Includes the development and knowledge transfer to required support teams
Motivate adherence to document policy as an internal collaboration and document management champion
Ongoing research into the technology to stay up to date with trends and best practices
Liaise with IT on future strategy of platform, upgrades, etc and communicate to user community
Maintain / extract regular metrics on the Cogeco Google Cloud to monitor growth and usage
Mentor collaboration platform user community. Assist with challenges, issues and training requirements

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

ACADEMIC TRAINING

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 7 years’ experience with cloud technologies in any of the following: cloud native application development & deployment, hosted services, SaaS management & deployment
7+ years of experience in building and managing an Enterprise Mobility Management toolset. Experience with Citrix
Relevant work experience with administering and deploying a collaboration system: Microsoft O365 and G Suite
Exposure to project management, communications, training and technical writing
Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, Java script, C++ or Google app script.

SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a desire to drive valuable and positive change for a rapidly growing team
Ability to write fluently and without need for extensive support or editing in areas of technical knowledge
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advance knowledge of the G Suite ecosystem. Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) an asset
Experience in administering and creating policies for Citrix MDM platforms
Understanding of Cloud based security tools that monitor collaborative environments
Good understanding of internal business process and document universe
Must be flexible and have ability to interact with all levels of company staff
Highly motivated individual able to grasp complex technologies, tools or knowledge and learn quickly.
Familiarity with Remedy is an asset
Detail oriented (accurate and thorough) with superior organizational and analytical skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently and take initiative in identifying and resolving problems. Monitors own work for quality
Experienced in effectively coordinating portions of multiple projects and working with conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously, efficiently and within a predetermined time frame
Bilingualism (French & English) is mandatory
