Name & Title of Supervisor:
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all aspects of maintenance using a variety of hand, power, pneumatic, and computer diagnostic tools and testing instruments to troubleshoot, maintain, repair and overhaul manufacturing equipment to include specialized systems and components as well as related equipment.
Industrial Electrical OR Millwright license, OR extensive experience in industrial electricity and mechanics in an environment dealing with rotating equipment, power transmission systems, motion control, PLC programming welding and steel fabrication
2- 5 Years’ experience working with pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems. Must have strong mechanical and electrical skills.
Automation skills are a great asset.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset.
Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Strong analytical ability to diagnose and resolve practical issues.
Able to read and understand schematics, operations, service and safety manuals. Strong attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Communicate clearly and concisely in English, both verbally and in writing. Bilingualism is an asset.
Self-starter to anticipate and resolve needs and requirements.
Proven ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining safety and quality.
Respond quickly, calmly and appropriately to emergency situations.
Strong manual dexterity to use various hand tools and equipment.
Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
Able to climb, kneel and walk on a regular basis.
Able to work in all weather conditions, including snow and rain.
Exposure to high voltage.
Able to work rotating shifts, including overtime and on-call requirements (Seasonal)
Able to speak, read and write English. Bilingualism is preferred.
