We are currently looking for a Senior Security Advisor who will play an important role in our growth.
As part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, you will be responsible of managing cybersecurity events and incidents. With the platforms and tools in place, you will need to identify suspicious behaviors, determine their criticality, and then act until resolution.

Use security platforms and tools such as the Security Information and Events Management Systems (SIEM) and Centralized Log Management (CLM) and manage the alerts that are raised in them.
Participate in the continuous improvement of the monitoring and security incidents processes aligned with security best practices
Participate in projects in other business units as an advisor, making sure they are following recommendations and integrating to the solutions already in place
Coordinate and/or participate in realization of projects or activities regarding security infrastructure or environment improvement, both with internal and external resources
Participate in the evolution of the strategies, bases, frameworks, objectives and directions of IT security operations and monitoring
Stay up-to-date with information security newsfeeds, techniques, and trends
Identify, assess and recommend security solutions that meet the business and technological needs by limiting impacts on users
Perform the analysis of security events logs using the available tools, investigate and/or escalate as required the potential or real security incidents
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in information technology
Good knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, load-balancing, etc.)
Good knowledge of security concepts (CIA, least privilege, segregation of duties, etc.)
Good knowledge of some of these technologies: Active Directory, Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Firewalls, Office 365 and associated security platforms, Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, etc.), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Web Filtering, Citrix NetScaler ADC
Strong reporting skills, ability to research, aggregate and transform data into information that can be used to support quality business decisions
Good vulgarization and workflow drafting skills, able to adapt the level of detail to its audience
Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining proficiency in the technical cyber security domain
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skills, pragmatic approach to IT security challenges and issues
Sense of urgency and able to apply risk-based approach to prioritize work.
Capability to work under stress
Positive attitude, self-starter with strong analytical, and interpersonal skills to lead working groups, negotiate and create consensus
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
Good communication skills and sense of humor
Assets and preferences
Experience in project management and/or leading initiatives
Experience in incident response and/or operational changes
Experience working with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies
Experience with big data analytics such as creating dashboards, identifying trends and detecting anomalies.
Security related certifications (CISSP, Security+, etc.)
