We have a dynamic opportunity, based out of our Corporate Office in Mississauga, for a Regional Sales Manager to ensure continual sales growth through the management of the Ontario Propane Sales team.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

· Business planning to achieve and/or exceed targets as outlined in budget

· Responsible for propane sales within Ontario

· Build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring continued revenue growth

· Develop multiple contacts with key accounts

· Lead and/or participate in contract negotiations

· Develop good working relationships and lead/motivate the outside sales staff

· Measure and track retention, sales, call frequency results and sales pipeline in a CRM system on a daily basis

· Coach sales representatives on techniques to improve their sales performance

· Responsible to ensure customer service levels are met by the sales team

· Review daily and monthly reports and provide forecasts

· Travel with the sales team on a regular basis to meet with customers

· Working jointly with the managers of the inside sales, operations and service teams

· Identify and implement marketing, advertising and promotional planning/activities

· Planning and running of regular team meetings

· Being aware of market conditions & trends

· Selling and promoting all company products and services


· 5-10- years’ experience in sales management

· Previous success in managing customer communications & relationships and providing effective customer service

· Strong leadership, coaching & mentoring traits

· Industry knowledge required

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Sound business acumen including financial and analytical skills

· Competitive and upbeat attitude with a drive to succeed

· Strong negotiation and relationship development abilities

· Self-motivated and organized
