DEMONSTRATED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Well established management and leadership skills capable of providing direction, support, feedback to a diverse staffing compliment over multiple worksites
Extensive knowledge regarding justice response to domestic violence in Calgary.
Well-developed knowledge of domestic violence & crisis intervention.
Previous direct experience support clients & families, working directly within domestic violence sector considered an asset.
Previous experience in program development and client service best practices.
Experience working with client databases and very proficient with standard office computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Apps),
Extensive Calgary referral/resource knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to develop program and personal work plans, monitor progress and adjust course to achieve goals
Outstanding communication skills and experience in conflict management and providing critical feedback.
Experience working in collaborative environments and multidisciplinary teams
Educational background in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or other closely related Discipline. Plus, a minimum of 7 years leadership & management experience.
Program Team currently includes 15 FT Case Managers, 1 Administrator & 3 Relief staff.
This program runs 5 days a week, Manager to work 8-hour days, 5 days a week,
This position reports to the Executive Director.
Program Team is split between three different locations.
