We are looking for a leader who brings with them direct experience supervising teams; has excellent communication, engagement and collaboration skills; and who has a track record of inspiring high levels of commitment and solutions driven action.

You are an ideal candidate if you possess knowledge of the criminal justice system and its response to domestic violence; experience in direct client service using a trauma informed and strengths-based lens. You will have demonstrated keen assessment and decision-making ability in previous supervisory roles; a personal standard of behaving ethically and a passion to create and maintain excellent working relations with internal and external team members. You will have also participated in strategic planning, program development, budget development and outcomes measurement to ensure the best possible program outcomes. Well established management and leadership skills capable of providing direction, support, feedback to a diverse staffing compliment over multiple worksites
Extensive knowledge regarding justice response to domestic violence in Calgary.
Well-developed knowledge of domestic violence & crisis intervention.
Previous direct experience support clients & families, working directly within domestic violence sector considered an asset.
Previous experience in program development and client service best practices.
Experience working with client databases and very proficient with standard office computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Apps),
Extensive Calgary referral/resource knowledge.
Demonstrated ability to develop program and personal work plans, monitor progress and adjust course to achieve goals
Outstanding communication skills and experience in conflict management and providing critical feedback.
Experience working in collaborative environments and multidisciplinary teams
Educational background in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or other closely related Discipline. Plus, a minimum of 7 years leadership & management experience.

Program Team currently includes 15 FT Case Managers, 1 Administrator & 3 Relief staff.
This program runs 5 days a week, Manager to work 8-hour days, 5 days a week,
This position reports to the Executive Director.
Program Team is split between three different locations.

All program positions within HomeFront require a: Enhanced Police Security Clearance which requires a background check on you, your immediate family and any person lived with in the past 10 years; Child and Family Services intervention Check; and at least 2 professional references which can speak to your leadership and program development skills.
