Initially located out of the Sherwood Park office and reporting to the PDH Operations Manager the Pipeline Coordinator, PDH will provide hands-on leadership to the PDH pipeline field Operations Tech and interface with the PDH Control Room Operators. They will be accountable for ensuring the safe, reliable, compliant and cost-effective commissioning, initial start-up and ongoing operations of the HPC HVP pipeline assets.

Key Activities and Responsibilities:
Acting as a role model the Pipeline Coordinator, PDH will help build a positive team culture and will use developed leadership and interpersonal skills to develop, coach and mentor the team.

Provide support & assistance to the PDH Operations Manager concerning all HPC pipeline assets.
Develop commissioning and start up plans, procedures, and schedules for all Z-662 compliant HPC pipelines.
Interface with HPC third party pipeline operators to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
Work with the pipeline integrity group to develop inspection plans and budgets for HPC pipelines.
Develop responsibilities, objectives and measures that reflect job requirements and support my supervisor's Responsibilities and Objectives.
Provide timely and constructive performance feedback through informal and formal performance review process ensuring documented training plans are updated at least quarterly.
Ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained and operated according to Inter Pipeline Procedures/Standards/Guidelines or manufacturer's recommendation and perform regular reviews to ensure optimum efficiency.
Support the Operations & Competency Program by leading by example and providing direct resources and time necessary for them to achieve the stated annual minimum core competency compliance average and successfully complete assigned technical training within the Operations Competency Program.
Ensure Work Order tasks in Maximo are completed and closed out on a regular basis and backlog is managed to a minimum.
Provide input on the annual budget based on forecasted business needs for maintenance expenses, capital and expense projects through SAP.
Ensure costs are managed at or below budget and any variances to budget are thoroughly explained to your supervisor.
Ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained and operated according to Inter Pipeline Procedures/Standards/Guidelines or manufacturer's recommendation and perform regular reviews to ensure optimum efficiency.
Promote a culture of incident prevention and EH&S excellence by serving as a role model and adhering to our EH&S Policy, Values and Commitments.
Responsible for ensuring measurement and quality control results comply with all corporate and regulatory standards and procedures pertaining to custody transfer and leak detection metering.
Promote a positive image of organization to external stakeholders at industry meetings, open houses or community events.

Education, Skills and Experience:
Must possess knowledge of pipeline operations and maintenance procedures
Well-developed and proven strong Leadership competencies
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
Technical Certificate (Power Engineer/Journeyman) recommended
Ideal candidate will have proficiency in programs such as Maximo and SAP
5+ years of Supervisor experience is preferred
Position will work a standard 40 hour work week M-F, with the expectation of extended work hours during the commissioning and start up period. Some travel within the operating area will be required on occasion. This position includes a company vehicle for work-related purposes.
