Technology Evaluation Centers is a looking for a Business Development Representative to work in our Academic Programs and Services space. The Academic Program is geared towards university professors who teach MIS, SCM, or BI to students enrolled in Business Management or Decision Science programs (undergraduate or graduate). The Academic Program provides students with a practical experience at making business decisions in enterprise software evaluation and selection. Students using our Academic Program will have the opportunity to apply critical thinking through the careful analysis of case studies, priority setting, and use of TEC’s patented decision support system (TEC Advisor).
The candidate would have some previous experience in sales, business development and relationship management. Furthermore, the candidate must feel comfortable working in a technology driven environment. Being multilingual is an asset. Good knowledge of Spanish is an asset. Knowledge of education and classroom environments is an asset, but not necessary.

The candidate’s goal is to increase the number of universities and courses that adopt the Campus Program as well as perform actions that would generate business opportunities for other related departments at TEC. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and able to manage their own work flow. The position reports to the Director of Academic Programs and Services who will provide all necessary training and overall direction of business development efforts.
