The Facilities Supervisor oversees the day to day operation, calibration and maintenance of the building and provides leadership to the maintenance team ensuring standards are met, timelines executed and required regulations adhered to.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day operation in the building regarding safety, productivity and efficiencies
Assist in Health and Safety, enforce safe work practices and all other applicable facility standard operating procedures throughout entire operation
Maintain function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program (Fiixand SAP Software) Overseeing the PM/Cal work orders, along with assigning, reviewing, approving work orders and equipment forms
Manage the Building Automation system by monitoring for compliance and provide reports as required
Assist in developing, reviewing and revised existing SOPs related to facility and critical systems
Coordinate and execute shutdown for building maintenance and production equipment
Assist in planning and preparing project schedule, milestones and budgets while monitoring progress against established schedules
Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by conferring with operating departments, identifying problems, and requirements
Improve function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions
Continually update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
Operate and test systems and equipment, restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts
Work with contractors and vendors to minimize costs, oversee quality of work, and meet timelines
Assist in reviewing and approving all expenditures for materials, equipment, tools, suppliers and subcontractors
Responsible for troubleshooting, solving problems and conflicts in a professional manner while maintaining open and timely communication with the customer
Coordinate and distribute work orders
Coordinate with Quality, Validation and PMO office as necessary

Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus and a high degree of accuracy while working with complex data in an environment of ever-changing deadlines, priorities and requirements
Self-motivated and capable of working independently
Ability to provide direction and structure to the facility team
Experience in a manufacturing environment, pharmaceutical or oil & gas industry an asset
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
Autonomous, decisive and well-balanced style of management that achieves desired results
Demonstrated strategic thinking and project management skills
Strong analytical, leadership, negotiation and problem-solving skills
Time management and follow-up skills; highly organized and detail oriented with technical insight
