About the role
We are currently undergoing RFP for an ERP project. The Business Analyst will be integral to process and workflow mapping in all departments of the organization to help us get into ERP from our existing manual processes. He/she will understand our business rules and needs and be able to map those to system processes and provide the appropriate training and guidance. As a leader in the ERP project, the Business Analyst will manage the project and ensure that it is successful. Applying his/her cross-functional skill set, this role is an expert in ERP and other business applications.
The Business Analyst must also work with other internally developed systems, such as our specialized Inca Production Database, to integrate them with the ERP project. Existing systems and workflows must be unified into this single improved working process, and deliver tangible efficiency gains. The Business Analyst should expect to provide expertise and guidance for integration and/or implementation of new applications to support the business. He/she must be the organization’s expert in adoption and use of applications to improve all our processes.
This role will own the continuous growth and improvement of business applications and is expected to take initiative and ownership to deliver these improvements.
This role is the owner of our business system data and will also have experience in business analytics to support growth of all areas of the business. He/she will also build requirements to help facilitate business analysis by working collaboratively with all departments, and then deliver functional reports and dashboards for valuable insights and decision making.
Must have skills:
Experience building requirements and developing reports for business analysis requirements
Customer service and support experience
ERP and continuous improvement experience
Demonstratable cross-functional project experience – experience in delivering technology projects that address business needs
Comfort working at all levels of technical needs and getting hands-on
Nice to have skills:
A background in project management
Agile software development and management
Competency in tools:
Crystal Reports, Tableau, SSRS or similar report building tools
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
SQL Server: T-SQL query writing and data warehousing
