Currently, we are recruiting a Business Development Representative for our Ottawa location. Reporting to the Language Centre Director, the Business Development Representative cultivates and acquires new customers. This role assures maximum satisfaction of our internal and external customers by managing their expectations in order to achieve the objective of creating long-staying, loyal customers.


  • Responsible for corporate and consumes sales in Ottawa
  • Generate New Sales Leads
  • Conduct face to face sales interviews
  • Conducts sales activities from initial inquiry through enrolment
  • Coordination and planning of group programs
  • Present Berlitz services in a clear, exciting and attractive manner
  • Provide courteous, informed, efficient customer service to clients
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Understand, and promote Berlitz products
  • Strong relationship building skills


  • 1-2 years sales and/or management experience
  • University degree or equivalent experience required
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Bilingual: French and English
  • Ability to travel as required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
