With a state of the art facility currently being built in Portage la Prairie, Roquette is a global leader in plant-based ingredients and a pioneer of new vegetal ingredients. Thanks to a constant drive for innovation and a long term vision for growth, Roquette is hiring a Maintenance Planner and Scheduler to join the Greenfield Team in Portage la Prairie.

As the Maintenance Planner and Scheduler you will be responsible for:

Maintenance & Improvement planning and execution of equipment.
Constructing the weekly maintenance schedule along with updating as unplanned events occur.
Holding weekly planning/scheduling meetings with the maintenance and production supervisors to determine short and long term priorities.
Schedule maintenance activities to ensure the priorities are satisfied.
Calculating KPI’s.
Monitoring deviations and variances in schedules and assisting in the developing of alternative methods for corrective actions.
Preparing and providing schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis.
Establishing root cause and work to resolve any issues which could affect supply of parts.
Accurately estimate job hours by trade, parts and resources required for all planned work orders.
Continuously improve planning and scheduling by assessing feedback and lessons learned.

You and Your Experience:
Degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering or a related field with 3+ years’ experience in food processing maintenance and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge and experience of SAP and MS Project.
Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing, including its safe usage, maintenance, and storage.
Solid understanding of preventative and predicative maintenance strategy.
Ability to interpret equipment specifications, engineering drawings, single line diagram, and isometric.
Ability to balance between planned maintenance jobs and new jobs.
Good CMMS process and use knowledge.
Knowledge of troubleshooting/Root Cause Analysis training.
Ability to read schematic and diagrams and drawings for the purpose of determining parts lists.
Excellent planning, organizational and attention to detail skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
