The Headlines:
In the role of Temporary Packaging Operator working out of our St. John’s Brewery and Warehouse, we are looking to hire three temps who will be responsible for various packaging duties as part of our Packaging & Supply Chain Team.
In this role, you will be required to work a rotating/fluctuating schedule; Monday through Friday starting as early as 6am AND Monday through Thursday, finishing between midnight and 1:30am. Temporary 6 month assignment without benefits.
The Responsibilities:
- Assisting with tasks on the production line and warehouse
- Working safely in fast-paced environment while meeting high quality standards
- Working in a team-based environment supporting fellow team members in achieving team targets and objectives
- Other duties as assigned
The Other Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work rotating shifts - Days and Afternoons
- Experience in Food and Beverage Industry considered an asset
- Comfortable working in cold and warm environments
- Knowledgeable on all relevant hygiene, health & safety legislations (including environmental), and on safe working procedures
