Job Description:
This position focuses on Accounts Payable and transactional activities including, but not limited to invoice entry, exception processing, scanning, payment, reporting and providing customer service. Additional duties include spreadsheet uploads into Oracle, reconciliations of vendor accounts and research/clearing open purchase orders as well as other duties as assigned. This position also supports the AP Supervisor, Controllers and/or Staff Accountants.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure invoices are accurately verified, coded, and processed

Research, troubleshoot, and resolve invoice exceptions within defined service level agreements

Resolve invoice exceptions related to PO and non-PO by using hold and workflow approval reports to identify areas for efficiencies

Work with and respond to internal and external customers in a timely manner – exhibit superior customer service

Assist other finance staff with queries or analysis related to purchasing or accounts payable.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Post Secondary education in Accounting required.

Strong communication and interaction skills required.
Effective accounting and organizational skills required.

Excellent computer and software knowledge essential, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, with Oracle and AS400 preferred.

Strong time management skills and ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule if necessary

Bilingual French-English candidates preferred

Minimum of 3 years of Accounting/Finance experience preferred

Experience in the automotive or Auction industry desirable.
