Career Opportunity: In Home Consultant - Outside Sales Representative

Our In home team in Kelowna is currently seeking In Home Consultant-Outside Sales Representatives to join their team. This position reports directly into the Supervisor of In home Sales. The successful candidate will be accountable for selling Shaw’s products and services door to door and at community events while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and selling the features, advantages and benefits of the fastest Internet, Digital and HDTV and other amazing Shaw products and services door to door to potential customers.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Tracking, accurately recording and reporting daily sales results to our branch office .
  • Attaining and exceeding individual and team sales targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • A passion for technology and being a part of a tech savvy, high energy team.
  • Demonstrated success in Customer Service and/or sales.
  • Working with defined sales goals and/or quotas; experience in field sales is preferred but not necessary.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to any change within industry
  • A team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, arriving on time at predetermined location each day.
  • Ability to retain a large amount of product and operational information.
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity.
  • Successful candidate must have own cell phone and vehicle for day to day
