Your tasks:
As a Senior Front End Engineer, you’ll be helping build new and exciting experiences for our users. You will be working within an Agile environment and using a variety of frameworks and tools, you will craft code to tackle challenges for users and our engineers as well as supporting bold business plans.

Your tasks:
Ensure a scalable platform by evolving architecture and tech stack together with individual contributors and other senior developers
Coach, guide and mentor teams on architecture and technology choices
Coach individual contributors, help them to grow, foster their mastery
Be a communicator, create alignment among contributors from different teams, consult Product and UX about technical implications of product ideas
Know delivery goals, make yourself familiar with the team roadmaps
Find a good balance between short-term delivery and long-term scalability goals, let the Benefit-cost ratio be a driver for all your actions
Know the codebase, actually contribute code from time to time, practice Pair Programming with other contributors
Ensure code quality and maintainability by tackling tech debt, conducting code reviews, initiating refactoring and improving build and test systems
Contribute to the team's work with high-quality, well-tested and scalable code

Your profile:
6+ years of experience in software development
4+ of experience as a JavaScript developer working in cross-functional teams
Proven experience as an architect is a huge plus
Deep knowledge of JavaScript, React, Node.js and ES6
Advanced understanding of design, implementation and operation of distributed services and APIs
Advanced knowledge of common web technologies (HTTP, DNS, REST/JSON, OAuth)
Experience with Automated testing
Experience with package managers like npm and build pipelines like webpack
Good understanding of Build Pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins)
Strong interest in current developments and technologies within the JavaScript community
Passion for agile software development, product discovery and continuous delivery
A high aspiration for quality balanced with a good sense of pragmatism
You understand quality assurance as a task of the entire team to build the best experience to the users
Independently and quick adoption of new technologies and concepts
Strong communication and other soft skills that help in dealing with people
Willingness to speak at conferences and engage in the community is a strong plus
Effective oral and written communication skills
