Under the direction and leadership of the Executive Chef, we are seeking a Sandwich & Salad Maker to join our Silvertip Lodge team. The Sandwich & Salad Maker is responsible for ensuring the salads and sandwiches are prepared and served to the highest standard possible. This position is also responsible for ensuring that products are rotated properly and adequate amounts are prepared for the guest capacity.


Located: Outside of Watson Lake, BC. This position is based on a 14 day on and 14 days off rotation.


  • Operating all equipment safely
  • Attending daily meetings with the Chef to discuss sandwich and/or salad preparation and production strategy
  • Maintaining the daily preparation, handling, storage, rotation, and serving of all sandwiches/salads required to meet the kitchen demands
  • Inspecting the equipment and food on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis


  • 1 year experience as Sandwich/Salad Maker in the hotel/restaurant industry
  • Excellent people skills
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently with little supervision
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Works well under pressure


  • Food Safe Certificate is Required
