We are looking for someone who can partner with our Equipment Finance clients (Technology and Manufacturing) that conduct business across Canada. As an account manager intern, you will work closely with Senior Account Managers and Territory Managers to develop and maintain relationships with our clients and vendors. You will conduct credit approvals and provide analysis for recommendations on equipment financing deals.
The successful candidate enjoys financial analysis and managing customer relationships. You are collaborative, outgoing and able to work on multiple projects.
As an Account manager intern, you will:
Participate in regular training sessions with members from the management team. The goal is to improve your Commercial Lending acumen while learning alongside your peers.
Develop relationships with equipment clients, equipment dealers and other vendors. The AM will receive, evaluate and negotiate terms for credit submittals/approvals from those sources.
Promote manufacturer programs to those vendors and dealerships.
Provide backup to Senior Account Managers and Territory Managers
Prepare underwriting requests on upcoming deals
Support the assigned TM’s by preparing sales presentations, monthly rate sheet, program announcements and other marketing items,
Work collaboratively with our accounting department on pricing, interacting with equipment management on collateral evaluations, and providing general customer service and support.
Market Skills and Certifications
The desired candidate:
Working towards the completion of a Business degree or equivalent
Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Communicate effectively with external and internal customers
Strong attention to detail
Possess strong collaboration skills with ability to work independently
Able to adapt to changing business requirements
