WPCI, a Bell dealer in Milton is seeking an experienced Store Manager. Candidate must be seeking long-term employment and be available 7 days a week. Must be able and willing to travel to different locations from time-to-time. Some travel out of town for training is also a requirement.

Position Summary

Management

  • Maintaining a positive and professional work environment

  • Conduct weekly staff meetings
  • Provide schedules in a timely manner
  • Submit payroll
  • Participate in new hire interviews

  • Provide revenue generating ideas
  • Seek out ways to promote business
  • Lead by example
  • Have a general understanding of the operating costs (overhead)

  • Ensure each employee understands the policies and procedures set out in the employee handbook

Small Business and Business Development

  • Must be able and willing to prospect via cold calling, door-to-door and represent the location at various networking meetings. This will require the candidate to travel and visit other locations to do so.

Sales

  • Acquire and maintain knowledge of products and services and present customized solutions to customers
  • Perform follow-ups as required/requested to ensure customer loyalty
  • The principal objective is to generate revenue through sales to new and existing clients, up to and including (but not limited too) attending networking events, establish relationships with local businesses for cross-promotion marketing, cold calling.
  • Merchandise Bell products/services required
  • Contribute to managing the store's expenses
  • Participate in on-going training and coaching initiatives
  • Perform physical store inventories as required
  • Order and receive merchandise utilizing established Bell reports and procedures
  • Other in-store administrative duties as required

The candidate must:

  • Above average computer skills, including Excel, spreadsheet development, Word, email systems
  • Be able to handle conflict both with clients and employees in a professional manner
  • Able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
  • Exceptional oral communication skills coupled with professional etiquette
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve targets with a passion for sales
  • Excel at listening, building relationships and overcoming obstacles
  • Enthusiastic, with a strong aptitude and very positive
  • Ability to speak fluent English to effectively communicate with prospects, present information and respond to questions from potential clients
