416 Automation Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our engineering team. As a member of 416 Automation Inc., the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting and innovative projects, helping to ensure that the products we release is of the highest quality. The self- motivated candidate must be reliable to service and maintain complex industrial equipment and control systems in both electrical and mechanical. The work scope for this position covers a wide range of responsibilities which includes working with Product Management and other test teams to ensure adequate test coverage and reporting.
Electrical and mechanical responsibilities to service and maintain complex industrial equipment and control system
Assembling the equipment
On- site start-up and on- site troubleshooting
Developing and executing various types of tests and generating creative solutions to testing problems
Preparing maintenance schedules and creating reports
Ensuring that the clients' equipment continues to meet its specifications
Must be willing to travel and be a part of the 24/7 416Automation Inc. service hotline attending to field service and emergency calls
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering, automation, robotics technology or equivalent
2+ years experience with programming, troubleshooting and debugging of industrial components and equipment
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC-5, Micrologix, SLC, RSLogix, RSlin, PanelView, Controllogix, UltraWARE, ORMEC, DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet I/O, Beckhoff, and EPSON robots
Possess mechanical experience in assembling and disassembling components
Demonstrated ability in diagnosing mechanical failures
Capability of modifying and/or changing mechanical parts as required
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to dissect a problem and form solutions that meet real-time constraints
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
Experience in automotive industry, electronics repair and industrial computer manufacturing
