ADMINISTRATIVE/OFFICE ASSISTANT – MILTON, ONTARIO

Position Summary

Edgewell is currently looking to hire an Administrative/Office Assistant on Day Shift. This is a salaried position based in our new Milton, ON Distribution Centre. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to various departments. The role is a combination of administrative duties and management of the Milton office.

Accountabilities

Office Management:
Main point of contact for the Milton facility.

Receive guests, respond to questions, screen external visitors using required health and safety protocols.

Create and circulate communications.

Seating arrangements and office reorganization.

Onboard & offboard employees.

Manage landlord and vendor relationships.

Ensure appropriate safety protocols are in place in facility, in partnership with the Joint Health and Safety Committee.

Administrative Duties:
Ensure adequate office supplies are available and maintain office equipment.

Process the payment cycle for various teams.

Initiate purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payment of invoices.

Reconcile supplier accounts and review vendor statements.

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems, SharePoint sites, etc.

Arrange meetings and events, update payroll, and process expense reports.

Coordinate the shipping/receiving of non-standard shipments.

Other general administrative duties.

Skills & Experience

High School completed or equivalent experience; 2 years of administrative experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.

Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities with high level of initiative.

Demonstrated resourcefulness and good judgment.

Strong attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Remain calm under pressure.

Demonstrated ability to use computer and wireless technology.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Work very well with others in a team environment and foster the culture of the organization.
