REQUIREMENTS

The person offered the job must:

  • Be ready for physical labour
  • Repeatedly lift and carry heavy building materials (as much as 100 pounds or more)
  • Pass pre-employment drug testing
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship
  • Arrive at work on schedule and fit for duty
  • Produce quality work and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Our ideal candidate will have forklift certification and experience operating a forklift and handling drywall.

The hourly wage for this position is based previous experience and certifications.

DAYS AND HOURS - SCHEDULE

Work days are Monday to Friday.

Shift starts at 6 a.m.

TRAINING & SAFETY WORK WEAR

Ongoing training for safety and job duties is provided.

Protective clothing and equipment are provided as is image wear.

Allowances are paid for purchasing jeans and steel-toed boots for this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our warehouse workers safely load and unload various building materials from trucks into the warehouse and yard.

They assemble orders for customers and load those orders onto Kenroc’s trucks for our delivery teams to deliver or into the vehicles of customers who are picking up their materials.

Warehouse and yard workers are also responsible for ensuring that product inventory and materials are placed in the proper locations in our warehouse and yard, and that the warehouse and yard areas are kept clean and well organized at all times.

They also ensure that the proper paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
