As a General Manager, you will be expected to:
Lead by example and reinforce the DRC's core values and policies on a daily basis
Create a warm and positive environment for guests and employees
Maintain a culture that revolves around the experience and enjoyment of food and beverage
Build and nurture relationships with guests, team members, management and vendors alike
Engage with guests and have a personal-hand when it comes to dealing with complaints and inquiries
Inspire your team with innovative ideas and visions for the future
Manage the floor and flow of business
Ensure scheduling, in all departments, leads to efficient service while being in line with labour costs
Perform cash and inventory reconciliation
Order supplies as necessary
Liaise with Human Resources to coach, recruit, train and manage the performance of team members as necessary
Recognize and reward valuable team members
Collaborate with our Marketing Manager and Creative Coordinator to showcase features and promotions in order to drive sales and meet targets
Other tasks as assigned by upper management

Experienced. We're looking for candidates with at least five (5) years of progressive experience within the hospitality industry, preferably a fast-paced restaurant environment, in a senior managerial role.
Industry-focused. A business, hospitality or food and beverage management degree/diploma, or the equivalent in education and experience, is considered an asset.
Certified. While you're required to be Smart Serve certified, Mixology, Prud'homme Beer, and Sommelier certifications are highly valued.
Numerically competent. Basic accounting and business math skills are required.
A people person. Someone who naturally possesses an affinity for superior guest service and takes the initiative to go above and beyond expectations.
Passionate. A true leader who aims to drive their team toward new heights and greater successes.
