Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Assistant Vice-President and Chief Legal Counsel, Legal Services, the Analyst is responsible for drafting treaties and addenda and for administrative and corporate tasks in order to meet departmental objectives.


Prepare treaties and addenda based on submitted documents: LOI, quote, e-mails
Draft boilerplate treaties
Obtain comments and approvals
Correct and finalize documents and ensure follow up both internally and externally
Update treaty files
Respond to all inquiries internal or external related to treaties
Assists in maintaining and updating various corporate governance and compliance records.


College Degree in administration or the equivalent
2 to 5 years of experience in a legal or contractual environment
Excellent PC skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Bilingualism essential (spoken and written)
Very good writing abilities
Knowledge of life insurance or reinsurance industry would be an asset.
