Job Summary:

Quality Control Associate maintains customer and supplier relations. Investigates and support Team Leaders in assigned production areas to trouble shoot quality issues. Coordinate with other departments when manufacturing new parts.

Reports to: Manager, Quality Control.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in automotive quality control environment.
  • Knowledge of quality core tools (AIAG SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, FMEA)
  • Familiarity with root cause methodology. (ie. 5P or 8D)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Trouble shoot
  • Blueprint reading
  • Complete trouble reports/5P’s., (corrective action reports)
  • Perform daily reject analysis.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance to MAP-C quality system/TS 16949
  • Verify dimensions of parts using precise measuring instruments/receiving inspections
  • Train all Musashi employees in quality issues
  • Perform QAV’s (Quality Assurance Visits/Supplier Audits)
  • Perform related duties as required
