Like all other mental disorders, they require the assistance of a specially trained team of medical and therapeutic professionals. ARN is looking for a reliable RPN to work with our multidisciplinary healthcare team at our new location in King City. We require immediate full availability for 12 hour days shifts. It is required that the nurse has experience working with an addiction/mental health population and with addiction medications.

The RPN will:

  • Provide high-quality, professional, unbiased care to clients
  • Complete new admission procedure including initial assessment, analyze/record urine drug screen,
  • Refer clients to doctor
  • Provides safe and informed administration of medications to ease symptoms of withdrawal
  • Assess recent drug use symptoms and respond quickly to notify colleagues and initiate monitoring, assessment and medication administration to mitigate further decompensation of health status
  • Collaborate with inter-professional care team to determine best course of treatment
  • Safely provides knowledge based care when supporting patients with recovery

Requirements:

  • Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current Standard First Aid, AED & CPR Healthcare Provider
  • PLP insurance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $20.00 /hour
