Faculty Appointment Types Sessional Non-NRSL Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia (CNC) is looking for a sessional nursing faculty member to help deliver theory, lab and clinical instruction for its Practical Nurse Program. This is an opportunity to be involved with practical nursing education for the future. CNC is looking for candidates to be involved with delivering clinical based experiences bringing expertise in medical / surgical nursing within the acute care context.
Skills & Qualifications
- RN with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- Membership or eligibility for membership in BCCNP.
- Expertise and recent medical or surgical experience in acute or community care settings.
- Recent teaching experience is an asset.
- Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent an asset.
You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.
You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.
Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
