Raymond James Correspondent Services, a division of Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a bilingual Correspondent Services Relationship Associate to work in our downtown Montreal office.

As a key contributor to the Raymond James Correspondent Services (RJCS) team you will manage the service relationship with existing Custody and Introducer clients and assist in the transition of new clients to the firm. Reporting to the AVP Correspondent Services, you will contribute to the ongoing growth and development of a highly effective and efficient team. As first class client service is the top priority, this position requires an ability to work in a unique pressure-oriented environment where inherent processing and regulatory rules and deadlines require very strong problem solving, organizational, and prioritization skills.

Specifically you will:

  • Respond to inquiries regarding RJCS business processes, regulatory issues, troubleshooting, and general service matters as a key point of first contact for our Correspondent clients;
  • Liaise with third-party vendors to manage external services as required to meet client needs and department objectives;
  • Take a lead role in new client transitions, using the Raymond James Project Management methodology;
  • Train all clients on new procedures or products;
  • Understand and monitor financial models and assist in various monthly calculations for billing purposes;
  • Monitor client related control accounts and review client bulk trading and allocation processing;
  • Assist with the completion of the annual 3416 control audit; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

  • Minimum 3 years related experience in a senior capacity in the Operations of a national investment dealer, a correspondent clearing firm or other financial services firms;
  • Excellent customer service abilities gained from direct, client-facing experiences;
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, able to multi-task with accuracy and efficiency;
  • Proven ability to be self-motivated and to work under pressure;
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and in French;
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook;
  • Dataphile experience is a definite asset; and
  • Successful completion or willingness to complete the CSC.
