Brookfield ambassador specializing in tenant relations with high profile tenants. Ensures high quality services delivery to 80 retail tenants in First Canadian Place, while promoting the property as the best business tenants’ destination in Canada. Promotes Brookfield Properties as the preeminent property management company in the country.
Primary retail tenants’ contact. Coordinates retail tenants’ inquiries i.e. service amenities, storage, security, general operations, pest control, housekeeping, leasing, billing and receivables, special requests. Responsible for initial complaints follow-up and resolution.
Maintains up to date retail tenants contacts. Distributes retail related Communiques. Reviews other dept. communication intended to retail tenants, including individual operations issued Communiques.
Coordinates interdepartmental communication related to retail. Liaises with other departments such as security and inhouse custodian as well as base building and tenants’ contractors.
Coordinates pre-move and move-in requirements i.e. hoarding and graphics, postal box, pass cards, tenant information guide etc. Also responsible for conducting vacancy inspections and overseeing premises decommission.
Coordinates reports and Lease Covenants deliveries i.e. monthly sales, sales ranking, pest control, food safety audits, Tenants’ HVAC maintenance contract, Annual Gross Sales, Annual Rental Schedule and Year-End Recoveries Notices.
Supports in the maintenance and operation of retail common area, service corridors, food court and food market and storage areas and ensure cleanliness and code compliances.
Responsible for retail tenants’ rewards, appreciation events and gifting.
Supports Director, Retail and Manager, Marketing & Events as required.
QUALIFICATIONS SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid customer relations experience. Strong organizational skills. Must be outgoing, confident, self-motivated and detail oriented. The ideal candidate must be a team player who is refined and tactful with a professional image. A self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision while meeting tight deadlines.
EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Three to five years commercial property management experience or equivalent in a large complex environment
Knowledge of retail operations management an asset
Intermediate MS Office computer skills
Strong verbal and written English language communication and interpersonal skills,
Superior organizational, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize.
Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and deal with contingencies
University education preferred, or similar work experience required
Some professional designation and ICSC member
