Currently, assisting our client with their search for Commercial Insurance Specialists! This a full-time, permanent position for a leading Canadian-owned insurance company with over 70 years of success.
Location: Milton
Shift: Monday to Friday
Time: 9:00am to 5:00pm
Base Salary: $ 50,000 to 70,000 salary plus commission
Responsibilities:
- Completing risk assessments and commercial inspections in accordance with underwriting guidelines
- Support the expansion of the commercial portfolio through outbound prospecting, client contact, and sales activities
- Conducting policy reviews to identify changing coverage requirements, responding to client inquiries, resolving complaints, and escalating issues as required
- Play a key role in identifying prospects in business markets and presenting customized insurance solutions
- Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved and execute sales activity documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner
- Maintains a high level of communication and organization
- Working with clients to review goals, providing risk management advice and recommendations for coverage, completing policy updates, and documenting required changes
- Participate in events to create brand awareness and developing/maintaining community contacts to maximize business opportunities
Qualifications:
- General Life License (OTL) is encouraged
- Previous experience in insurance sales industry is a strong asset
- Knowledge/experience within the Commercial industry strongly encouraged
- Strong customer service background with great verbal and written communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation (travel will be regular)
- High energy, motivated and driven to exceed expectations
- Focused and optimistic about growth opportunities within the business
- Must have a clear criminal background and upstanding credit
