We are looking for an experienced SITE SUPERINTENDENT to join the Holaco family at various locations throughout the Lower Mainland. As on-site Superintendent, you will be expected to provide on-site coordination of all facets of Institutional and Commercial projects. This includes daily coordinating with Owners, Architects, Sub-trades, suppliers and ensuring that specifications, schedules, budgets and quality expectations are met.

SITE SUPERINTENDENT ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule subcontractors, consultants and vendors in the critical path to ensure timely completion.
Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
Communicate with the project team regarding RFI’s, Shop Drawing Submittals.
Ensure the intent of the Contact Documents are met.
Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
Maintain compliance of Holaco Health and Safety program on-site.
Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
Ensure that daily timesheets are prepared and completed on time.
Maintain records and prepare written reports as required.
Read and interpret blueprints and work sketches as required.
Establish and maintain effective work relationships with subordinates, and the public.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

SITE SUPERINTENDENT REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of three years of verifiable experience within the institutional/commercial sector.
Successful completion of a Trade Qualification (TQ) ticket
Must have a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and provide an up-to-date Driver’s Abstract confirming a clean driving record.
Must possess excellent oral communication and supervisory skills. Excellent command of the English language.
Must have working knowledge of computer applications for purposes of report writing and emails.

Planning / Organized – Prioritize and plans work activities, uses time efficiently, plans for additional resources, organize and schedule subordinates, develop realistic action plans.
