The Demand Generation Coordinator is a key member of the Canadian Demand Generation team, executing weekly campaign activities and supporting long-term acquisition goals for Cision Canada.
The role reports to the Senior Manager, Demand Generation in Canada and is responsible for planning, crafting and executing inbound campaigns, including marketing emails, nurture programs, landing pages and webinars. Other tasks include website support and Content optimization using Uberflip, CRM management in Salesforce and Eloqua, copywriting, and tracking and measuring campaign performance. The role will work closely with the content team to acquire design assets, with marketing operations to ensure proper attribution for campaigns as well as align closely with the rest of the Cision global marketing organization.
Ideate and execute demand programs (emails, webinars, landing pages) in coordination with marketing team members to support the MDR and sales teams with quality inbounds that result in product demos, opportunities and closed/won deals
Develop and send weekly marketing emails while improving existing subscriber nurtures (post-MDR outreach, blog subscribers) with updated content and creative CTAs
Identify opportunities within the existing clientele to improve marketing effectiveness and lead generation, including audience targeting and program metrics and analytics
Assist in creation of marketing collateral targeted at prospects and customers, including nurture programs to prospects and Cision upsell to current customers
Work with the content, design, and marketing ops teams to facilitate the execution of campaigns and launches
Track, measure and report on campaign performance
Maintain a healthy database of high quality and engaged prospects using Eloqua
Webinar scheduling, planning, set up (using On24), and follow up (including creating the on-demand webinar page and follow up emails)
Strong understanding of the demand generation marketing process, from content development and asset creation, to deployment and measurement
Ability to produce business specific solutions leveraging Salesforce.com to support companywide initiatives
Hands-on working knowledge of B2B marketing automation tools such as Eloqua
Experience managing integrated media campaigns including search engine marketing, digital display campaigns and email channels
Ability to write concise marketing copy and CTAs for emails and landing pages with a strong focus on lead quality
Experience working cross-functionally to support in-region campaigns, events and activations
Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple systems with minimal supervision
Ability to read and write in French will be considered a strong asset
More importantly, collaborative and enjoys working with team members
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing or a related field is required. SaaS or B2B industry experience is an asset.
2-3 years marketing experience
Experience working cross-functionally to manage and execute customer programs that drive engagement, advocacy, revenue and retention
Well versed in the current marketing trends, practices and techniques
Advanced listening and verbal communication skills to understand stakeholder needs or problems and respond clearly and concisely.
Strong project management skills including conceptualization, managing deadlines and objectives and execution of plans
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
