Role & Responsibilities
As a Director of Payer Services, you will be responsible for: directs &/or executes activities facilitating a deeper relationship with payer data suppliers including sale and delivery of services, generating revenue &/or gaining access to data supply.
Achieves/exceeds the assigned revenue and growth goals within the claims data supplier segment
Develops in coordination with the Offerings Manager, value added information/programs IQVIA can offer to payer customers. Supports multi-year, multi-million dollar contract negotiations of national accounts and oversees implementation, coordination and follow through of all contracts and information services agreements.
Develops relationships with key executives and decision makers within payer segment.
Identifies new product opportunities that could be jointly developed/marketed, as well as provides tailored information services that guide our partners toward optimizing their market performance.
Develops proposals to secure business opportunities.
Influences internal organizations to develop applications, support and service new customer segments.
Develops and executes account plan(s) and monitors progress.
Nurtures relationships with key executives within the national accounts and cultivates new relationships with data suppliers.
The skills and behaviors required for this position include: Requires broad management knowledge to lead teams, and well as the ability to influences others outside of own job area regarding policies, procedures, and goals.
Nine (9) years relevant sales or account management experience
Extensive knowledge of healthcare in Canada, focused particularly on the role of payers/healthcare insurers, customer account management and the pharmaceutical industry.
Successful track record in sales roles, consistently achieving assigned revenue and growth goals.
Problem solving, negotiation, planning, relationship building, presentation, and written and oral communication skills are essential.
Ability to set vision and direction.
Ability to influence outcomes.
