TouchBistro is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team! In this position, you will develop and support HR strategies that support the business objectives and partner with the HR team on executing on these strategies, including areas such as organizational change, onboarding, learning and development, employee relations, and retention. To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the ability to build relationships across the business and coach and influence business leaders at all levels while assisting them and the organization to become more effective.

YOUR DAY-to-DAY

Deliver expert-level coaching in the areas of organizational design, coaching, learning and development, talent assessment, and employee relations
Act as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to various client groups by demonstrating both a strategic orientation and a hands-on approach coupled with the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of employee engagement levels
Advise employees and leaders on employment related matters
Coach and develop leaders and managers to become exceptional people leaders.
Drive an exceptional employee experience by fostering a culture of inclusion whereby all employees feel involved, valued and respected
Partner with client groups to understand the market we operate in, business environment, and unique challenges, sharing insight back into the HR team
Live our core values and brand promise in everything you do as a Culture ambassador. You will be the walking, talking embodiment of our core values and brand promise operating at the highest levels of integrity, building trust with every team member
Participate in HR projects and initiatives assigned by the HR Leadership team as needed
Focus on employee engagement, and diversity and inclusion programs which enhance it

ALL ABOUT YOU

Minimum of 7 years of relevant HR experience including 5 years in an HRBP role
Undergraduate degree, preferably with focus on business/human resources or work related experience CHRP, CHRL or other HR designation, is an asset
Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
Ability to effectively collaborate with HR stakeholders and business partners and coach managers
Strong people leadership skills, problem solving, conflict management and negotiation skills
Exceptional ability to strategically influence and persuade senior leaders and navigate ambiguity in a complex, high change environment
Expert strategic capabilities to assess issues and their potential impact
Excellent project management skills with an eye for the fine details
Passion for people; consistent high energy and enthusiasm.
Emotional intelligence and strong customer service mindset
You are a natural problem solver
Working collaboratively with a group is your thing and you thrive on developing creative solutions
