As the Lower Mainland District Manager East, you will be an entrepreneurial person who exhibits strong leadership and communication skills. Core Values of Collaboration, Teamwork, Initiative and Continuous Improvement are vital to this role. The LML District Manager East works closely with the LML District Manager West and other Branch Managers and Supervisors at the branch level to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness in all branch sales and operations including but not limited to branch sales, gross profit, expenses and profit before tax budgets. You will lead, mentor, and oversee all branch activities including branch staffing and delegating duties as necessary to accomplish organizational strategic goals. The leader that takes on this opportunity is responsible for managing the Lower Mainland East, which includes the territory of Langley, Surrey and the Fraser Valley.

Who you are:
You are leading operational excellence. Oversee Lower Mainland East branch operations and activities and involved in strategic branch/region planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology and is often creating or improving processes to achieve business objectives.
You are a natural born leader. Directly manage the branch sales staff that will lean on your expertise and leadership. You will be the driving force in mentoring and empowering your team. This will include working with the branch teams in hiring, performance management, goal setting and succession planning.
You are a great collaborator. Work closely with Corporate Managers, Sales Directors, Branch leadership, branch staff and HR to develop strategies to maintain or increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Assist with sales calls or other business-building presentations as necessary. Makes timely decisions or recommendations to resolve escalated customer issues.
You are a strategic planner. Develop, lead and measure all revenue programs through integrated sales and marketing initiatives. Analyze various daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure action or appropriate branch KPIs such as gross profit & sales margins. Prepares or oversees the preparation of branch reports such as yearly budgeting or other information gathering as required.

You bring the following skills/qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
5-7 years of experience in a similar leadership role, along with 3+ years of relevant sales experience
5+ years of experience in the electrical industry
Proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build relationships and respect cultural diversity
Ability to be inclusive, collaborative and respectful
High level of comfort with computer skills, specifically proficiency in MS Office and the ability to learn new software
Travel is required
Ability to be inclusive, collaborative and respectful
Long working days are occasionally required and remain accessible on a 24/7 basis through cell phone and email
Ability to multi-task and be able to organize 50+ incoming emails per day
