The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the execution and optimization of all digital marketing programs. A key member of the Marketing Operations team, this person will be responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Marketing Automation Manager and Demand Generation Managers in driving new leads to the sales organization and nurture existing clients and prospects through digital channels. Digital Marketing Specialist has a deep understanding of end-to-end digital marketing strategies and a proven track record in building, creating, executing, and delivering high impact, ROI-driven digital lead generation programs that materially impact the bottom line. This position reports to the Director of Global Marketing Operations.

In addition, the role requires the ability to analyze campaign effectiveness, modify campaigns based on results, and clearly articulate outcomes to stakeholders. The Digital Marketing Specialist should have a constant focus on key KPIs and ROI. He/she has a proven track record working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple marketing projects and external agencies simultaneously. This key team member should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Using different distribution channels such as content marketing, SEO, SEM, email, social etc., work closely with the Demand Generation Managers and Marketing Automation Manager to execute customer acquisition campaigns across chosen digital channels to drive high quality new leads to the sales teams, stimulate growth and brand recognition. Assist with the development of the campaign brief.
Collaborate and assist the Marketing Automation Manager to develop emails, landing pages and workflows in Hubspot and optimize user experience.
Work in collaboration with the Marketing Managers on nurture programs for all personas and product lines. Track and report campaign effectiveness metrics as well as overall ROI to internal stakeholders. Continually monitor, analyze and tune campaigns to maximize conversions.
Maintain database hygiene through best practices.
On occasions where 3rd party agencies are required, manage the agency in campaign execution, management, daily operations and reporting.
Ensure high brand awareness and brand compliance for all digital assets created/developed.
The Candidate

4-6 years of digital marketing across paid, owned and earned mediums, customer acquisition and demand generation experience.
Experience driving high performing digital campaigns with tight deadlines across key channels such as display, SEM/PPC, SEO, email, social and on-site.
Experience designing, creating, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of high engagement nurture campaigns.
Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Hubspot is preferred) and Salesforce.com.
Hands-on experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Hotjar, SEMRush
Some knowledge of Wordpress
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent project management skills, especially in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or relevant field of study.
Must have full professional proficiency in speaking English. The ability to speak French as well is an asset.
Experience devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and initiate user action.
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
Extremely organized, with a sharp eye for detail. Nothing gets past you.
Familiarity with the tagging, tracking and testing email and digital ad campaigns.
Experience with design/graphic tools (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
Experience in external agency management for campaign design, execution, measurement and reporting.
Proven interpersonal and relationship management skills, with ability to obtain consensus among multiple stakeholders.
Highly analytical and data-driven
Able to juggle many projects at once.
Has a collaborative approach, positive outlook, and relishes teamwork.
Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget.
