Hello, Toronto! We are excited to open up this Business Development Representative (BDR) position and are looking for the right person to join us as we continue to shake the planet!

As a Business Development Rep to join Humi, you will be part of a veteran sales team, to source and qualify prospects that will ultimately become great Humi clients. You will become an integral part of the sales squad and enjoy all the perks that come with it! Through this process, you will gain a ton of experience in; sales expertise, product knowledge, and industry insight. You will be given the tools and knowledge to succeed and the rest is up to you. What we are looking for in a Business Development Representative:
A natural conversationalist with strong sales abilities
Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly
A motivated individual with a hunger for growth and success
Excellent phone acumen from experience conducting a high volume of outgoing cold calls
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with a positive attitude and is not afraid of rejection
Thrives in team environments and is able to work independently
Humble, willing to learn, and willing to do whatever is needed to help accomplish team goals
A thirst for gaining product, tech and industry knowledge
A completed Bachelor Degree or College Diploma
Creativity to come up with new lead strategies and prospects

Nice to Haves:
Previous experience in a fast pace BDR Role
Completed Degree or Diploma in Business
Knowledge of the HR, Payroll, Benefits or SaaS industry
What you will be doing as a Business Development Representative?
Speaking with prospects and qualify them for a demo of Humi
Generating and booking demos for Account Executives (3-5 per day)
Completing a minimum of 50 calls and 50 emails per day
Using company lists and tools to generate new prospects and leads
Finding new ways to generate leads and prospects
Working with the sales team to continuously develop your product and sales knowledge

In the first week you will:
Onboard and integrate into the Humi sales team
Become acquainted with your sales area, your sales goals, and the tools you will use to meet and succeed these goals
Training and learning the Humi product, and sales tactics
Compiling and generating prospect lists to start contacting
Book your first demo for the sales team

In the first month you will:
Be completing 50 calls and 50 emails per day from company lists
Booking 2-3 qualified demos per day on average
Continuing to learn the Humi product suite, and offerings through weekly training
Start developing new ways of gaining interest in Humi and generating prospects

In the first three months you will:
Be consistently meeting or exceeding booking goals (3-5 per day)
Have an intermediate knowledge of the Humi offerings and products
Consistently meeting or exceeding goals
Monitor and measure the success of your initiatives against company goals
Working with the Sales Manager to plan future BDR endeavours

After your first year:
You will be an expert in the BDR role
Have advanced knowledge of all Humi products and offerings
Be ready to take your career to the next step as an Account Executive for Humi
Understand the expectations to transition into the Account Executive role
