GC Biotherapeutics is seeking the expertise of a dynamic Systems Administrator to add to their team in Montreal. Being part of a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the functionality of the Administrative and Quality controlled IT infrastructures, manage and recommend on technological solutions. You will work in close collaboration with the growing IT team to maintain and develop good practices in your field of expertise.

Working together within the department of information technology, you will be responsible for building, deploying and managing the corporate IT infrastructure.

The challenges of the job…

Your key duties and responsibilities include:
Managing a Windows/VMWare server environment

Optimising and maintaining a rigid IT security strategy

Integrating and harmonising multiple and complex hardware/software solutions

Managing a virtual environment in hybrid infrastructure (Cloud)

Maintaining system qualification and GxP compliance with respect to health industry regulations

Performing a variety of duties in support of the team’s activities

Do you have…

Along with a College (CEGEP) diploma in this field, you possess 5 to 10 years of related experience in an Administrator role and of course, you’ll need excellent communication (fluency in French and English) and interpersonal skills to work with some awesome colleagues!

We seek someone with excellent knowledge of:
Windows Server/VMware ESXi (vSphere/vCenter) environments

MS Active Directory Enterprise Administration

MS Exchange Administration

You’ll need experience and knowledge of:
Enterprise backup solutions (NetBackup, Veeam) and DR scenarios

Scripting in PowerShell, VBScript

Cisco, HP, 3PAR networking and storage

Azure cloud services with Office 365

MS SQL Database Administration

Server Management and Monitoring

Thin Client and Windows terminal service

Possessing these experience and knowledge will be considered an asset:

Cyber security and compliance requirements

Knowledge about common industrial software such as data historian, DAS and alarm notification

Knowledge about common industrial communication protocols and SCADA environment

Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, CSVMP)

Knowledge about Linux

VMware Certification VCP6

Microsoft certification MCSE, MCSA

Good understanding of ITIL processes
