Key Responsibilities / Functions:
You will be the lead architect for the Digital Trust IoT software products. This will include

Digital Twin, eSIM
Device management evolution
Streaming Analytics

The main purpose of this role and the key responsibilities are to:

Design a microservices based extensible software architecture for IoT
Work with product team to develop architectural evolution roadmap
Work with development teams to implement
Lead by implementation.
Ensure cloud native fundamentals are adhered

Location: Candidate should be located in: Ottawa, ON; or Austin, TX.

Required Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

Bachelor´s Degree or equivalent experience required, Candidates with Bachelor´s in a technical field (CS, EE, etc.) will be more relevant, Master´s is a plus
At least 10 years of experience in the skills below
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Demonstrated skill in two or more programming languages
Distributed systems and data management. Cloud computing. Edge computing.
Event sourcing based systems
Monolithic application decomposition
Creative and problem-solving mind-set
Solid presentation skills. Ability to engage the hands-on technical experts.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent interpersonal/team skills
Fluent in oral and written English.
Desired Qualifications: (Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)

Same as the required minimum qualifications plus:
Functional programming
Streams processing
Domain driven design
