Reporting to the Manager of Marketing & eCommerce, the Digital & SEO Marketing Specialist will work closely with third-party vendors, web developers and the sales team to help take our digital presence to the next level. This individual will be responsible for PPC, Display, Video, Shopping and Social Media advertising. They will seek out new opportunities in paid search to maximize traffic and conversions. The associate will also be responsible for all SEO projects to improve our organic search metrics. They will be a detail-oriented person, self-starter and take a data-first approach when making decisions. This individual should develop a deep understanding of the customer base and have a passion for trying new things to improve the sawmill purchase journey.
Role and Responsibilities

  • Manage all paid marketing campaigns to drive traffic and maximize conversions
  • Help build the brand through brand-focused digital marketing campaigns
  • Develop reports, analyze and share results with leadership
  • Allocate and routinely manage budget mix for all product categories and channels
  • Create, manage and report on social media advertising (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest)
  • Provide guidance and support to our international marketing teams and agencies

· Plan, schedule and track project timelines/milestones using appropriate tools

· Plan and schedule website enhancements required to support SEO, Digital Marketing projects/goals

· Conduct A/B tests to gather informative and directional data for decision making

· Create, schedule and deploy email campaigns that align with digital marketing activities

· Manage customer email database

· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in eCommerce Digital Marketing & SEO focused activities
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Analytics and/or Adobe Analytics
  • College Diploma or University Degree in Business/Marketing
  • Expert computer skills with proficiency in MS Office, G-Suite
  • Experience using Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Google Merchant Center, Facebook Business Manager
  • Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics) and SEO reporting tools
  • Proficient understanding of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign is considered an asset
  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR and other email advertising regulations

  • Strong presentation skills in order to present to senior management team
