Manage the client relationship for specific accounts(s) resulting in strong Sponsor partnerships and exceptional service delivery. Execute the Sponsor strategy and deliver AMRP services to support Sponsor in meeting their Revenue targets as well as meeting AMRP revenue targets for the account. Gain critical insights into the Sponsor business, share these insights with the Sponsor team and collaboratively identify opportunities to build relevant loyalty solutions.

On your AIR MILES adventure, you will:
Develop and Deliver on Sponsor / Revenue Plan

Create and Implement the overall Sponsor account strategy including revenue targets and the work plan needed to meet the plan and targets. Adapt and manage for change based on Sponsor and market needs while still being responsible for the original revenue targets. Manage internal Sponsor budgets associated with the account plan (if any)
Identify new opportunities to increase revenue within the Sponsor and explore tactics for AIR MILES to drive the business. Opportunities can be driven both inside and outside the core and identified via data, industry information & trends, sponsor conversations etc. Examples of new opportunities could include working on coalition partnerships, instore experiences, testing new marketing formats (mass vs. targeted etc.), banner expansion and new technology to enhance Loyalty experience for customers/clients
Share best practices with other Client Leads and Sponsor teams to ensure communication of ideas, solutions and opportunities to further develop Sponsor relationships. Practices will be shared ad hoc and in a bi-yearly structured format
Gain an understanding of the Sponsor’s business and corresponding Loyalty applications marketing imperatives from both a strategic and financial perspective and be seen as the primary contact and a business partner by the Sponsor
Update status of account revenue, targets and relationship to account team, GM and CSLT as required, using existing tools (ie Sponsor plan, monthly forecast.)

Manage the Work and Deliverables

Manage relationship with Sponsor in collaboration with General Manager / Sr. Client Lead and the support of the Client Marketing Manager, Client Marketing Specialist and Analytic Solutions team to deliver AMRP revenue targets for portfolio.
Manage the team in the development of reviews and updates on the impact the program is making on the Sponsor business, (including competitive impact, campaign success and recommendations, customer impact on loyalty and retention and generation of profitable sales for the Sponsor). Make recommendations based on the data and updates

Day to Day Response / Contact

Serve as a point of contact for Sponsor inquiries Contact will include mid-level business discussions to develop marketing plans, serving as a resource or provide guidance for Loyalty and marketing questions, assist in solving customer problems, resource for questions regarding different areas of the AIR MILES program, providing content for larger Sponsor meetings and annual plans
Serve as point of contact for team on questions relating to their work on the Sponsor business and provide strategic insight and guidance

Forecasting

Manage both the quarterly and annual forecast related to the AMRP revenue plan for the Sponsor. Use knowledge of AMRP priorities, Sponsor business, economic trends, history of the account and the Sponsor account strategy as a guide for the inputs. Work with both Analytic Solutions team and Client Marketing Manager to ensure a cohesive revenue forecast is delivered based on data trends and marketing plans along with the above inputs and knowledge

These are the essential requirements to thrive in this role:
Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in client / partner management environment,
Minimum 2 years of Loyalty marketing or product marketing experience preferably with a retailer, agency or financial institution
Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory/Management experience
Relationship management skills
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Solid analytical skills with ability to interpret data and results
Ability to influence / sell at Manager and above levels
Track record of delivering on and beyond targets
Collaborative approach to problem solving. Ability to apply data and analytics insight to generate new Marketing opportunities for clients
Comfortable presenting in small and large groups
Ability to make budget decisions under $5K
Define new opportunities and scope out elements required to deliver on these opportunities. If investment is required create business case with recommendations on the key elements for CSMLT approval
