Tribus Services has an immediate opening for the position of Customer Care Representative at our downtown Halifax, NS location. This position will support our Digital Electric Meter project with Nova Scotia Power. We are replacing analog type electric meters with new digital meters. This project has an estimated completion date of 11/2020.

Position Overview:
The Customer Care Representative handles inbound and outbound calls to provide customer services including: schedule meter installation appointments, responding to customer questions, offer additional services, and conduct surveys when needed. This position is also responsible for receiving, investigating, and resolving customer concerns and issues. The Customer Care Representative also records all related information by entering the data into applicable software system database.

Responsibilities:
· Resolves service issues as needed and responds to customer inquiries, clarifying customer requirement and probing to confirm understanding.

· Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls. Responds to customer emails and voicemails to schedule appointments for each project. Offers appointment options and responds to customer objectives to provide superior customer service. Will perform meter reading validation for the Nova Scotia Power Project.

· Verify customer information and identifies special circumstances or needs of the customer and updates applicable software system database with the information

· Enter all complaints or issues and communicates resolution to customer and/or Project Manager.

· Provide effective communication to other employees/departments to ensure high quality and timely meeting of customer requests.

· Maintains confidentiality of all customer information and adheres to security protocol

Preferred Skills:
· High School diploma or GED

· Three years previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center.

· Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook

· Must possess excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate professionally and effectively to a variety of audiences in person, over the phone and via email.

· Ability to speak clearly, at an appropriate volume, and in an understandable manner, particularly while speaking on the telephone.

· Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor with all customers.

· Must pass Meter Reading Test
