We are currently looking for a Corporate Category Planner to join our Team in our Supply Chain Department. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Corporate Category Planner is responsible for the supply of their product category.
Post - Secondary education: Bachelor’s Degree / Technical Diploma or APICS (CPIM) certification;
1-3 years relevant work experience;
Experience in Production Control and/or Inventory Management and/or Purchasing & Materials Management;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things through;
Proven team player;
Ability to prioritize and work in tight deadlines in a high energy and fast-paced environment.
Capacity Planning - Produce and provide to the sites Weekly & Monthly Paper Production Requirements, Analyze variances to the plan, provide Cost Analysis due to manufacturing changes as needed;
Inventory Management - Review weekly current and projected inventory levels, Report Excess or Obsolete inventory levels, Track trends and shifts within the Category;
Raw Material & Purchase Planning – Provide requirements for purchase paper as well as a pulp balance outlook that coincides with the FG production plan.
Operation Impact & Communication / Customer Service - Point of contact for Paper issues/concerns for the business, Communication of anticipated service issues and operational impact to the FG plan, Scenario Management to provide solutions for managing constraints.
